While the sudden death of singer Wheesung is shocking many fans, a close aide of him told NewsN about his position. NewsN reported exclusively on the 15th.
A close aide of Wheesung told NewsN, “I came forward because I thought it could damage Wheesung’s reputation and make him feel unfair.” He then said, “Given his situation these days, he was not a person to kill himself.”
Wheesung is said to have visited China on June 6-8. He is known to be close to Wheesung as an older brother.

According to the media, Wheesung had finalized his project to enter China and had written a contract. He had planned to move to China after a domestic concert this month.
“When I showed you the basic form of the contract, Wheesung was so active that he asked me to proceed with the contract right away. Even though the official contract was not prepared, he showed his will by handwriting the contents of the contract,” he explained.
“I don’t understand that such a person full of enthusiasm for a new challenge made such a choice,” he said. Wheesung plans to enter China not as a singer but as a lyricist, songwriter, and album producer.
They decided to produce 200 songs in person or through collaboration for five years, and each song would cost 100 million won (approx. Many singers and trainees wanted to receive Wheesung’s song, he told NewsN.

“We were supposed to meet on the 11th, but my heart collapsed after hearing the sad news on the night of the 10th. I don’t know how a person who was full of expectations can suddenly die. I think it is highly likely that something went wrong or that it was a tragedy caused by a mistake,” he told the news outlet.
Recently, the National Forensic Service said, “We conducted an autopsy, but we are conducting a detailed examination because it is difficult to determine the cause of death immediately.” It will take about two weeks for the results to come out.
