On the May 20 episode of SBS’s variety show “Whenever Possible”, TWICE’s Jihyo and Sana appeared to sit down for a chat with the show’s hosts.

Yoo Jae-suk revealed that the production team had informed him in advance that Jihyo and Sana would be guests. He admitted frankly, “I’m still in touch with artists like TWICE, but I find it honestly a bit difficult to connect with newer idols these days.”
Jihyo remarked on the group reaching their 10th year since debut, saying, “Time has flown by so fast.” Yoo Jae-suk responded with admiration, “It’s amazing that you’ve survived as a group for 10 years in such a cutthroat entertainment industry.”
Jihyo added, “We never really took a break during those 10 years. We were always doing something. Recently, we even performed the opening stage for Coldplay’s concert in Korea.” She emphasized how active they’ve remained throughout the decade.
Yoo Yeon-seok then asked, “What does it feel like to be a 10-year idol?” Both Jihyo and Sana let out a simultaneous sigh, saying, “Haah…”

Jihyo shared her thoughts, “Time really passed in a flash. I’ve been thinking about how we’ll spend the next 10 years. I do hope we can continue for a long time, but you never really know what might happen in this industry.”
Later in the episode, Jihyo revealed, “I don’t really like sleeping, so I go out a lot during the day. I take walks, go to cafes. People in my neighborhood know I live here, so when they see me out and about, they’re just like, ‘Oh, she’s around again.’”
Yoo Jae-suk asked Sana, “Did you join through a global audition?” Sana replied, “I was scouted and then invited to audition. The day after the audition, the company asked my parents, ‘Would you be willing to let your daughter go to Korea?’”
Reflecting on Sana’s journey living away from home, Yoo Jae-suk said, “It’s not easy being far from home, only getting to visit once or twice a year.” Sana responded, “There were times I thought about sneaking back home at dawn.”

She continued, “I actually thought, ‘How could I quietly sneak out with my suitcase?’ But my passport was at the company. There was no way to get it without them knowing.” She caused laughter as she added, “If I could’ve gotten it, I might have gone back to Japan. I was going to go with Momo.”

Despite the candid confessions and humorous anecdotes, the episode reflected the grit and warmth behind TWICE’s longevity. As they continue their journey, their honesty and humility only deepen fans’ admiration.
