Between 4-6 October, 2NE1 started their Welcome Back tour with shows in Korea, and unsurprisingly, the list of celebrities and K-Pop idols attending was huge.

In particular, both Jennie and NewJeans were spotted at the October 6 show, and netizens loved seeing clips of the idols enjoying themselves.

The idols also met the members of 2NE1 after the show (which was alongside a lot of other present and past YG artists).

On October 8, netizens shared a photo showing Jennie meeting NewJeans at the concert. While Jennie’s face can’t be seen, she’s wearing the same outfit while showing the members something on her phone, and NewJeans looked very excited.

Unsurprisingly, netizens couldn’t hide their excitement and shock, especially seeing that Jennie has always seemingly shown support for the members and how excited NewJeans looked.

It was definitely an iconic interaction.
