NewJeans Hanni’s Audit Appearance Speaking On Workplace Bullying Sparks Criticism

NewJeans Hanni’s recent audit appearance sparks major criticism from international netizens.

On October 15, Hanni attended a hearing regarding HYBE’s alleged mistreatment of NewJeans and workplace bullying.

Hanni spoke about many things during her appearance at the audit, including HYBE founder Bang Si Hyuk, HYBE’s lies, and much more.

Yet, after articles and posts were shared on Reddit about the appearance, it seemed like Hanni’s appearance sparked criticism.

On Reddit, netizens criticized the issue for becoming “bigger” than it should be, especially as a lot of the focus was seemingly on being “ignored” by the manager. They also added that while Hanni may have felt mistreated, that there were other idols who had much more severe mistreatment but hadn’t gained the same attention due to “lack of popularity” compared to NewJeans.

Fans also explained that Hanni seemingly didn’t speak about the extent to NewJeans’ mistreatment that was brought up early in the feud, including their life as trainees.

Others also criticized the National Assembly for inviting Hanni, believing that they were trying to “use” the idol and how it seemed like a waste of money, especially considering issues among Korean society.
