On May 26, a post titled “We are victims of school bullying by actress Go XX” was shared on an online community.
The author, claiming to be a middle school classmate of Go XX, alleged that “Go XX engaged in bullying, extortion, verbal abuse, and mockery and intimidation of disabled students during middle school.” They continued, “Go XX continues her entertainment career without remorse, downplaying her past as ‘mere mistakes.’ We do not seek apologies or compensation from Go XX but hope she permanently halts her activities to prevent further harm.”
The accuser detailed serious allegations against Go XX, including physical assault, verbal abuse, theft, intimidation, and false accusations. To support their claims, they shared old photos purportedly of the actress and her friends. Many netizens, based on the photos, content, and context, speculated that Go XX refers to Go Min-si.

In March 2021, Go Min-si faced controversy when photos surfaced online and on social media showing her drinking with friends at a bar as a minor. The photos, reportedly uploaded to Go Min-si’s old mini-homepage, were from 2011 when Go Min-si, born in 1995, was 16 years old and underage.
At the time, Go Min-si issued a public apology, stating, “I sincerely apologize for causing concern with photos of my underage drinking. I honestly admit that I am the person in the photos.” She added, “I believe that neither youth nor the passage of time can wash away all actions. I am fully aware of the indescribable pain this may cause others. I recognize the wrongness of my past actions and deeply regret them.”
She further apologized, saying, “Words are not everything, and my sincerity may not fully come through, but I am truly sorry to those affected by my actions. I will strive to follow a more mature and righteous path.” At the time, no school bullying allegations were mentioned, and the underage drinking issue seemed to be resolved with her apology.

Since then, Go Min-si has starred in the drama Youth of May, Netflix series Sweet Home Seasons 2 and 3, The Frog, the film Smugglers, and the variety show Jinny’s Kitchen 2, earning praise for her acting and charm.
From May 12, she has been starring alongside Kang Ha-neul in the Genie TV drama Tastefully Yours, receiving positive reviews. However, these new bullying allegations have shocked fans, given her rising popularity and strong acting career.

In response, Go Min-si’s agency stated, “After verification, the claims are not true.”
As the allegations continue to gain traction online, public opinion remains divided. Some fans stand by the actress, citing the lack of concrete evidence and her agency’s swift denial, while others call for further investigation into the claims. As the situation unfolds, attention is on both Go Min-si and her agency to address the matter transparently and decisively.
