Netizens believe BLACKPINK‘s Rosé shaded her former company YG Entertainment.
After it was announced that none of the BLACKPINK members were resigning with YG Entertainment for solo activities, most of the members quickly revealed their future goals, including members creating their own companies. However, Rosé’s future was less clear as she didn’t reveal much aside from teasing projects.
It was recently announced that Rosé was joining THE BLACK LABEL and while netizens had mixed feelings, the idol took to Instagram with a letter about her decision.
While the letter was heartwarming and opened up about Rosé’s decision to join THE BLACK LABEL, netizens thought one part of the letter specifically seemed to shade her former company YG Entertainment. In the post, Rosé explained, “As you all know, I have come from a place where more things have been done for me over doing things on my own.”
When the letter was posted, many thought Rosé was shading the management at YG Entertainment for not letting her have the freedom when it came to her career.
