The cyber wrecker channel that harassed NewJeans mocks HYBE’s legal response “I might not get caught”

Recently, “7th Grade Middle School” posted on its YouTube community, titled “Why ‘7th Grade Middle School’ is lucky”, stating, “It wasn’t intentional, but since I only used the telecommunication company’s IP and at the time requested by HYBE (last October), I wasn’t living at the registered address. If Google and time are on my side, I might not get caught.”

The post also included a photo of IVE’s Jang Wonyoung with the caption “Such a ‘Lucky Vicky’“, continuing the mockery.

This post seems to ridicule HYBE’s legal process. When netizens criticized the post, the YouTuber responded with more mockery and slander.

In response to a comment, “7th Grade Middle School” said, “Even the sloppy ‘Sojang’ left so many traces that it took three attempts to track down with an account. How do you plan to catch someone with a blank account and the telecommunication company’s IP?“

In another comment, they stated, “It’s uncertain if Google will hand over the information smoothly, and even if they do, the telecommunication company keeps the IP logs for only 3 months. A month and a half has already passed.“

These responses suggest confidence in evading HYBE’s legal action.

Since 2022, “7th Grade Middle School” has been posting videos containing false rumors, degrading remarks and body-shaming comments about female celebrities. They have targeted aespa, LE SSERAFIM, IVE and mainly NewJeans with these defamatory videos.

Accordingly, HYBE requested the California Federal Court to reveal the identity of the YouTube account that defamed NewJeans, and the court approved this request.

Upon hearing about HYBE and ADOR’s legal actions, “7th Grade Middle School” temporarily closed and then reopened the channel. The channel continues to post defamatory videos about IVE and NewJeans.
