aespa’s second solo concert “2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: PARALLEL LINE” has officially been opened at Jamsil Indoor Stadium, Seoul
aespa held their solo concert “2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: PARALLEL LINE” at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 29th and 39th of June.
At their concert, aespa performed new songs from their first full album, such as “Supernova” and “Armageddon”, as well as their hits “Black Mamba”, “Next Level”, “Spicy” and solo stages of the members. The girl group prepared special arrangements and stages for powerful performances to captivate the audience. The concert was also broadcast live on global platforms such as Beyond Live and Weverse Live.
After releasing their first full album “Armageddon” last month, aespa has enjoyed immense popularity in both Korea and overseas. The title song “Supernova” ranked No.6 on Billboard’s Global Chart (excl. US), and No.17 on Global 200.
By topping Melon’s Weekly Chart for five consecutive weeks, “Supernova” maintained the record of the longest-charting song released this year. It remained at the top spots on Circle Weekly Chart’s Global K-pop Chart, Digital Chart and Streaming Chart for five weeks in a row and ranked No.1 on Genie Music’s June Monthly chart. Recently, “Supernova” even became the first K-pop girl group song to be played as the background music for the Dubai fountain show.
Another title song “Armageddon” also topped K-pop charts for six weeks in a row on five music platforms under China’s music platform Tencent Music, such as QQ Music, and won 12 trophies on music shows. It also ranked No.29 and No.55 on Billboard Global Chart and Global 200 Chart, respectively.
Starting with the Seoul shows, aespa will continue their tour in a total of 14 regions in Asia and Australia, including Fukuoka, Nagoya, Saitama, Singapore and Osaka in July, Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, Jakarta, and Sydney in August, Melbourne, Macau and Bangkok in September. Early next year, the group plans to expand their tour to the Americas and Europe.
